As an HR Manager, you will sit at the heart of the leadership team, shaping people and culture strategy, building strong employee relationships, and ensuring compliance while keeping the workplace buzzing with energy and inclusivity. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership – Partner with the Excom team to influence business strategy, champion culture, and provide expert advice on all people-related matters.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding – Build recruitment strategies, run full-cycle hiring processes, and create engaging onboarding programs that make new hires feel at home.
- Employee Relations & Compliance – Keep the workplace positive, handle disputes fairly, and ensure compliance with labour laws, Employment Equity, BBBEE, and industry regulations.
- Payroll & HR Administration – Oversee accurate payroll, leave management, and employee records, ensuring smooth processes for every staff member.
- Employee Engagement & Retention – Drive initiatives that strengthen recognition, inclusion, and belonging, while monitoring turnover and boosting retention.
- Training, Development & Performance Management – Design impactful training programs, manage learnerships and internships, and create performance frameworks that align people goals with business goals.
Key Requirements:
- A strong HR leader with 7–10 years of HR management experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or Excom-level role.
- Solid knowledge of South African labour laws, industrial relations, EE, and BBBEE.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business, or related field (postgraduate qualification a bonus).
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or similar environments would give you an edge.
- A people-focused, strategic thinker with integrity, communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels.
