Our client on the lookout for a dynamic HR Generalist, for a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract, to partner with their manufacturing operations. If you’re passionate about people, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy balancing employee relations with training & development.
 
You’ll be the go-to person for HR support, working closely with employees and managers to make sure things run smoothly from recruitment to organizational development.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for employees and line managers on all HR-related matters.
  • Lead talent acquisition activities across various levels.
  • Provide expert advice and ensure compliance with labour legislation.
  • Guide managers and employees on policies and procedures.
  • Engage with SETAs and other regulatory bodies.
  • Support training, development, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Manage HR administration and contribute to improving HRIS processes.
  • Drive projects that improve processes and create a positive service culture.
 
Key Requirements:
  • Matric plus a tertiary HR qualification.
  • 3+ years’ HR partnering experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working with SETAs.
  • Strong MS Office skills and HRIS knowledge (Workday experience is a plus!).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, innovative, and proactive in driving processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels.
  • High integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
