We’re seeking a recently qualified CA(SA) ready to step into a hands-on commercial finance role with real growth potential.
Core Focus of the Role
Ownership of cash flow forecasting and monthly management reporting, while partnering with the business to provide meaningful financial insight that supports strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Own short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting; monitor actuals vs forecast and provide proactive insight
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Ensure IFRS and statutory compliance
- Support year-end audits and liaise with external auditors
- Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes
- Manage the company’s insurance portfolio (coverage reviews, renewals, broker liaison, cost efficiency)
- Partner with operational teams to drive working capital management and financial planning
- Contribute to finance projects, system enhancements, and process improvements
- Improve reporting timelines, accuracy, and quality
- Support and develop junior finance staff
Requirements
- Recently qualified CA(SA)
- Strong technical accounting foundation
- Exposure to management accounts, audits, and financial reporting
- Commercial/post-articles exposure advantageous
