We’re looking for a driven, detail-focused Financial Accountant to take ownership of a core accounting function and lead a team within the finance department.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team within a key accounting function
- Ensure accurate processing, reviews, reconciliations, and strong controls
- Maintain and review key accounts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Prepare and review monthly reconciliations; resolve discrepancies proactively
- Support month-end close and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
- Support internal and external audits
- Partner with stakeholders to resolve queries and improve efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
- Completed or served accounting articles (SAIPA/SAICA/CIMA or recognised body)
- Strong technical accounting foundation, including creditors management
- Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting systems experience
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
