You’ll sit close to the operation — not behind a desk — and make sure the business has the right people, performing properly.
- Partner with line managers to improve performance through people
- Own ER in a tough, industrial environment
- Drive change projects that actually land
- Build talent pipelines, succession, and development
- Push back, challenge, influence
- Make HR commercial, not theoretical
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification, HR degree or relevant qualification.
- Postgraduate qualification in Organisational Development/Industrial Organisational Psychology/Change Management/Business Development/Continuous
- 6–8 years true HRBP experience
- Manufacturing / industrial exposure (non-negotiable)
- Strong ER backbone
- Comfortable with change + ambiguity
- SAP experience
- Registration with SABPP or IPM advantageous

- Knows how to get buy-in, not just give advice
- Understands the realities of a plant environment
