Executive – Sales | Johannesburg | Reports to CRO
Our client is looking for an Executive – Sales who will lead and grow the Africa sales function, driving revenue across new business, existing customers, channel partners, and multinational accounts. This role is responsible for regional sales strategy, revenue performance, team leadership, customer growth, and partner development.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Growth
- Deliver regional revenue, pipeline and growth targets.
- Lead enterprise, mid-market and regional sales teams.
- Drive new customer acquisition and expansion opportunities.
- Own forecasting, sales performance and CRM discipline.
Customer Success & Retention
- Drive renewals, retention and account growth.
- Lead Customer Success and Key Account Management functions.
- Strengthen strategic customer relationships and increase share of wallet.
Partner & Channel Sales
- Develop and manage regional partner and reseller networks.
- Drive partner-sourced revenue and market expansion.
- Ensure partner enablement, performance and alignment.
Multinational Accounts
- Lead African execution of multinational customer engagements.
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure consistent customer outcomes.
Leadership
- Build, coach and retain high-performing sales teams.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Operations, Finance and HR.
- Represent the business at senior customer, partner and industry engagements.

Key Requirements:
Qualifications
- Matric
- Degree in Business, Commerce, Sales or Marketing
- MBA or Sales Leadership qualification (advantageous)
Experience
- Minimum 12 years’ B2B sales experience.
- Minimum 5 years in senior sales leadership.
- Proven success delivering growth across enterprise, mid-market and channel sales.
- Experience leading teams across multiple African countries.
- Strong partner/channel development experience.
- Exposure to multinational customers and complex commercial environments.
- SaaS, technology, telematics, fleet or logistics industry experience advantageous.
- Strong Salesforce and sales forecasting expertise.
