Our client is seeking an exceptional Senior Finance Manager to join its executive leadership team. This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a commercially minded CA(SA) who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and is passionate about driving business performance through financial excellence. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, strengthening governance, improving profitability and partnering with the business to deliver sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.

• Provide strategic financial insight to support business growth and operational excellence.

• Partner with executive and operational leaders to improve profitability, margins and return on investment.

• Drive financial governance, risk management, compliance and internal controls.

• Oversee annual financial statements, management reporting and key performance indicators.

• Lead cash flow management, capital allocation and investment decisions.

• Support acquisitions, business optimisation and strategic initiatives.

• Develop and mentor a high-performing finance team.

• Drive continuous improvement through technology, automation and data-driven decision making.

• Build strong relationships with auditors, financial institutions and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• CA(SA) qualification (or equivalent professional accounting qualification).

• Extensive senior finance leadership experience.

• Experience within a complex, multi-site or group environment.

• Strong commercial, strategic and operational business acumen.

• Demonstrated success in improving financial performance and business outcomes.

• Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management and influencing skills.

• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate strategically while remaining close to the business.
