EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
Purpose
Responsible for driving leadership, career and specialist development programmes while building coaching, mentoring and internal talent pipelines that support business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership Development
- Design and run leadership programmes (DRIVE & GROW)
- Partner with leaders to create development content
- Manage facilitators and programme delivery
- Track programme participation, completion and behavioural impact
- Specialist & Scarce Skills Development
- Build specialist career paths and competency frameworks
- Implement RPL certifications and capability reviews
- Develop learning pathways linked to career progression
- Coaching & Mentoring
- Recruit and train mentors and coaches
- Match mentors with mentees and monitor progress
- Track engagement, satisfaction and outcomes
- Career Development
- Implement IDP frameworks and career progression pathways
- Facilitate career development workshops
- Support internal mobility and succession pipelines
- Programme Measurement
- Measure programme success and ROI
- Track participation, completion and long-term impact
- Provide development insights and reports to leadership
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR / Organisational Development / related field
- SDF qualification
Experience
- 5–7 years experience in employee or leadership development
- Experience designing learning, coaching or leadership programmes
