EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST
 
Purpose
 
Responsible for driving leadership, career and specialist development programmes while building coaching, mentoring and internal talent pipelines that support business growth.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leadership Development
  • Design and run leadership programmes (DRIVE & GROW)
  • Partner with leaders to create development content
  • Manage facilitators and programme delivery
  • Track programme participation, completion and behavioural impact
  • Specialist & Scarce Skills Development
  • Build specialist career paths and competency frameworks
  • Implement RPL certifications and capability reviews
  • Develop learning pathways linked to career progression
  • Coaching & Mentoring
  • Recruit and train mentors and coaches
  • Match mentors with mentees and monitor progress
  • Track engagement, satisfaction and outcomes
  • Career Development
  • Implement IDP frameworks and career progression pathways
  • Facilitate career development workshops
  • Support internal mobility and succession pipelines
  • Programme Measurement
  • Measure programme success and ROI
  • Track participation, completion and long-term impact
  • Provide development insights and reports to leadership
 
REQUIREMENTS
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR / Organisational Development / related field
  • SDF qualification
 
Experience
  • 5–7 years experience in employee or leadership development
  • Experience designing learning, coaching or leadership programmes
