This Finance Manager will take charge of daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy across reporting, compliance, and controls. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial reports, forecasts, and management packs.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring deadlines and compliance are met.
- Manage annual budgeting, variance analysis, and performance tracking.
- Liaise with auditors, oversee tax and statutory submissions, and ensure adherence to IFRS and local laws.
- Strengthen internal controls, liquidity management, and risk oversight.
- Drive process improvements and implement automation initiatives for efficiency.
- Mentor and support a team of finance professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Honours degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- CA(SA) (preferred) or CIMA.
- Minimum 5 years experience in a finance management or senior accounting role, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and financial systems (ERP experience essential).
- Analytical mindset with a flair for accuracy, problem-solving, and innovation.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
- Experience in production costing, variance analysis, and standard costing methodologies.
