Finance Manager | Durban

Our client is looking for a Finance Manager who will be responsible and accountable for the overall financial management of their local facility. The role will cover financial input, output, interpretation, analysis, presentation, reporting and management, while ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the finance department.

• Ensure the financial compliance of the business with all relevant regulations.

• Manage and oversee standard costing and profit plan vs. actual performance.

• Implement and manage financial policies and procedures.

• Verify and approve financial transactions within the business.

• Manage the finance department budget, as well as budgets for other business units where required.

• The individual will be responsible for all financial legal obligations of the business in accordance with applicable employment regulations.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance, preferably with a CA qualification.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Finance Management role.

• Proven experience in managing staff.

• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance measures.
