Key Responsibilities
- Month-End and Year-End Close.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial closes.
- Reconcile accounts and prepare financial statements.
- Report to management and Group.
- Compliance with Accounting Standards.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
- Accounting Team Management.
- Supervise accounting staff.
- Set performance goals.
- Provide training and development.
- Process Improvements.
- Identify ways to automate and streamline workflows.
- Financial Reporting.
- Prepare and distribute internal and external financial reports.
- Cross-Functional Coordination.
- Collaborate with procurement, operations, and sales to ensure accurate and timely transaction recording.
- Internal Controls.
- Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
- External Audits.
What We’re Looking For:
- CA(SA) qualification
- 5 years’ financial management experience
- Experience within a FMCG/manufacturing environment advantageous.
- Experience in working on business management and accounting software
