Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Financial Management: Lead financial oversight for procurement and manufacturing activities to ensure efficiency and ROI.
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Identify trends and cost drivers through deep analysis.
- Cost Optimisation: Drive initiatives to reduce production costs, improve liquidity, and manage working capital effectively.
- Inventory & Cash Flow: Partner with inventory and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels and support healthy cash flow.
- Capex & Strategic Support: Provide financial input on capital investments, expansions, and technology decisions through robust modelling.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare detailed monthly reports and ensure adherence to IFRS, company policy, and statutory regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial strategy with operational goals.
- Risk Management: Identify and address financial risks related to forex, suppliers, and changing market conditions. Strengthen internal controls and SOPs.
Requirements:
- Education: CA(SA) or CIMA preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Supply Chain minimum.
- Experience: 5–7 years in manufacturing or procurement finance roles.
- Systems: Strong ERP skills (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel proficiency.
