Our client on the lookout for a dynamic HR Generalist, for a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract, to partner with their manufacturing operations. If you’re passionate about people, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy balancing employee relations with training & development.
You’ll be the go-to person for HR support, working closely with employees and managers to make sure things run smoothly from recruitment to organizational development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for employees and line managers on all HR-related matters.
- Lead talent acquisition activities across various levels.
- Provide expert advice and ensure compliance with labour legislation.
- Guide managers and employees on policies and procedures.
- Engage with SETAs and other regulatory bodies.
- Support training, development, and organizational development initiatives.
- Manage HR administration and contribute to improving HRIS processes.
- Drive projects that improve processes and create a positive service culture.
Key Requirements:
- Matric plus a tertiary HR qualification.
- 3+ years’ HR partnering experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with SETAs.
- Strong MS Office skills and HRIS knowledge (Workday experience is a plus!).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, innovative, and proactive in driving processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels.
- High integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
