Human Resources Business Partner

Our client, a multinational company committed to developing solutions to provide sustainable nourishment, is looking to add a Human Resources Business Partner to their location in Hammersdale, KZN, to support the business in maintaining & enhancing Human Resource management activities in the organisation by planning, implementing, & evaluating employee relations & human resources activities such as recruitment & selection, training & development, employee relations, benefits administration, & any other activity related for the organization to maximise the strategic use of human resources.
 
This is an EE position, therefore preference will be given to African applicants.
 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or equivalent
  • 8 years’ experience in Human Resources, with experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Passion for people development & relationship-building
  • Exceptional problem-solving & analytical skills
  • Good planning & project management skills
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Talent Management – building a talent pipeline for future growth of the organization, by partnering with the relevant functions to coordinate recruitment in partnership with the Head of Recruitment
  • Ensure that training needs are identified, appropriate training delivered, evaluated & future action plans developed & agreed with the Head of Training
  • Database cleansing & accuracy
  • Effective maintenance of EE plans
  • Manage pay programmes, communications, & administration
  • Provide expert coaching & ongoing HR leadership to managers & employees
  • Representation of the company in arbitration & concilliation matters
  • Effective handling of special projects
