LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (SDF)
Purpose
Responsible for managing skills development compliance, learner programmes, and training operations while ensuring SETA compliance, grant recovery, and BBBEE skills development reporting.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- SETA Compliance
- Submit WSP/ATR on time
- Manage SETA learner registrations and NSDMS administration
- Prepare discretionary grant applications
- Maintain POE evidence files and audit readiness
- Learner Programmes
- Manage apprenticeships, internships, graduates and bursaries
- Coordinate Work Integrated Learning placements
- Track learner progress, completion and conversion
- Learning Operations
- Implement the Annual Training Plan
- Manage training records and learning platforms
- Coordinate training providers and track completion rates
- BBBEE Skills Development
- Track skills spend vs plan
- Maintain verification evidence
- Reconcile training spend with finance
- Reporting
- Produce monthly training and grant reports
- Monitor grant recovery and programme ROI
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Degree in HR / HRD / OD / ETDP (NQF 6)
- SDF qualification
Experience
- 2–5 years in skills development / L&D
- Experience with SETA submissions, grant recovery and learner programmes

- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Data reporting and analytics
- Stakeholder management
- Ability to manage multiple training programmes
