LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST (SDF)
 
Purpose
Responsible for managing skills development compliance, learner programmes, and training operations while ensuring SETA compliance, grant recovery, and BBBEE skills development reporting.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • SETA Compliance
  • Submit WSP/ATR on time
  • Manage SETA learner registrations and NSDMS administration
  • Prepare discretionary grant applications
  • Maintain POE evidence files and audit readiness
  • Learner Programmes
  • Manage apprenticeships, internships, graduates and bursaries
  • Coordinate Work Integrated Learning placements
  • Track learner progress, completion and conversion
  • Learning Operations
  • Implement the Annual Training Plan
  • Manage training records and learning platforms
  • Coordinate training providers and track completion rates
  • BBBEE Skills Development
  • Track skills spend vs plan
  • Maintain verification evidence
  • Reconcile training spend with finance
  • Reporting
  • Produce monthly training and grant reports
  • Monitor grant recovery and programme ROI
 
REQUIREMENTS
 
Qualifications
  • Degree in HR / HRD / OD / ETDP (NQF 6)
  • SDF qualification
 
Experience
  • 2–5 years in skills development / L&D
  • Experience with SETA submissions, grant recovery and learner programmes
 
Key Skills
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Data reporting and analytics
  • Stakeholder management
  • Ability to manage multiple training programmes
