Production Planner

Pinetown – KwaZulu Natal – South Africa
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. This role is to plan and optimise production in line with the MPS to drive delivery performance and efficiency.
Requirements
- Matric
- Diploma/Degree in Production / Operations / Planning
- 5+ years’ experience in production planning (automotive preferred)
- Strong ERP/MRP knowledge
- Syspro experience essential
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule production against MPS
- Convert forecasts into production plans
- Manage stock, WIP, and backorders
- Monitor daily production vs targets and adjust as needed
- Drive efficiency and resolve production issues
- Support NPI (OTS, PPT, MPT) activities
- Produce key reports (production, backorders, performance)
- Ensure compliance with HSE, Quality, and 5S standards
