Regional Financial Controller | Gqeberha

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Regional Financial Controller to take financial responsibility across multiple manufacturing plants.

This is a hands-on, operational finance role for someone who understands manufacturing, enjoys getting behind the numbers and can provide meaningful financial insight to support business and plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial analysis and commercial support to plant and operational management

  • Prepare monthly financial packs, flash results and management reports

  • Analyse actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances

  • Prepare plant P&L and Balance Sheet forecasts

  • Manage budgeting and forecasting across the plants

  • Oversee stock control, stock takes and variance investigations

  • Manage cash flow, working capital, debtors, creditors and GRNI

  • Manage CAPEX, tooling and fixed asset reporting

  • Analyse manufacturing costs, landed costs and Purchase Price Variances (PPV)

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls and audit requirements

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and profitability

  • Lead and develop the finance teams supporting the plants

Key Requirements:

  • BCom or National Diploma in Financial Accounting

  • CIMA highly advantageous

  • Strong Financial Controller / Management Accounting experience within manufacturing

  • Solid understanding of costing, stock, CAPEX and working capital

  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience

  • Experience across multiple plants/business units advantageous

  • Previous people-management experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
