Overview
A leading national logistics and distribution business is seeking a Senior Commercial Sales Coordinator to act as the commercial gatekeeper for the national sales operation.
This role owns the master rate card, ensures all pricing leaving the business is commercially sound and margin protected, and leads RFQ/RFP tender responses for key accounts.
Working closely with Business Development Managers across multiple sites, this person ensures the business transacts on accurate, profitable and standardised pricing structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the national master rate card
- Review and approve all outbound pricing before it reaches customers
- Monitor rate renewals and pricing health across the rate book
- Lead the preparation of RFQs, RFPs and tender submissions
- Support BDMs with commercial pricing guidance
- Identify margin risks, pricing anomalies and revenue leakage
- Maintain standardised quoting templates and pricing governance
- Provide weekly commercial reporting and pricing insights
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone with strong commercial pricing experience within logistics, warehousing, distribution or supply chain environments.
Degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain
Key strengths required:
Commercial Pricing Expertise
- Experience managing rate cards, tariffs or pricing structures in a multi-site environment.
Strong Analytical Skills
- Advanced Excel capability with the ability to analyse margins, cost inputs and pricing trends.
Tender / Bid Coordination
- Experience preparing RFQs, RFPs or tender submissions.
Sales Partnership
- Ability to work closely with BDMs while protecting commercial discipline.
Attention to Detail
- Highly accurate when reviewing pricing, quotes and margin structures
Self-Starter
- Comfortable taking ownership of pricing governance and driving commercial processes independently.
